Legal standing
Proof of registration with the national authority (for example the CAC in Nigeria or the Registrar-General in Ghana), a governing document and named trustees.
A prayer may begin with one person, but its answer can come through many.
GOD $ABEG is a community-powered hub. We check out the charities, NGOs and orphanages doing the real work on the ground, then put every contribution on Solana so you can trace it from the first need to the final smile.
We are not a charity. Think of us as the trusted middle: we verify, connect and prove, so your help lands exactly where it’s needed.
01 · The story
What does “God abeg” mean?
God abeg /gɒd a-bɛg/
Pidgin, West Africa. “God, please.” Part prayer, part plea, part joke. People say it many times a day, at the market, in traffic, before exams, and when things get really hard.
Across West Africa, when life gets tough, one phrase comes out on its own: “God abeg!” Sometimes people laugh when they say it, and sometimes they mean every word.
$ABEG started on Solana as a meme token inspired by that phrase and by faith. Beneath the jokes and the charts there is a serious aim: a better way for people to give, for people to receive help, and for everyone to see what each contribution achieved.
We are here for the lost, the shattered, the hungry, the homeless, the hopeless and the forgotten, and for the local heroes who serve them every day, often with too little structure and too little support.
A meme with a purpose. A community built on generosity. An ecosystem designed for trust.
02 · How e dey work
Seven steps from need to impact, all on the record, so no gift goes missing along the way.
A partner submits a real, costed need, such as school fees for 40 children or a borehole repair.
We check the organisation and the need: registration, a site visit, references and the people in charge.
The cause goes live. People give, and every contribution is recorded on Solana.
Funds are released in stages tied to milestones, or paid straight to suppliers.
The partner gets the work done: buying supplies, paying staff and delivering on the ground.
Receipts, photos and confirmations are uploaded, and their fingerprints are anchored on-chain.
Results are reported against the original need and stay public, building each partner’s track record.
03 · Verification standards
Every partner is checked against the same published standards before a single coin moves. [Final criteria to be confirmed by the $ABEG verification committee.]
Proof of registration with the national authority (for example the CAC in Nigeria or the Registrar-General in Ghana), a governing document and named trustees.
A site visit by an independent community verifier, with GPS-tagged photos of the premises and the work.
ID checks on directors and at least two independent references from community, faith or civic leaders.
A dedicated account or wallet, basic accounts, milestone-based releases and receipts for every spend.
A child and vulnerable-adult safeguarding policy, mandatory for orphanages. Beneficiaries’ dignity and privacy come first in all evidence.
Verification is renewed every [12] months. Missed reports pause funding, and misuse means public delisting.
Documents received and under review.
Fully checked and eligible for funding.
A proven record across multiple causes.
04 · For charities, NGOs & orphanages
Are you doing good work on the ground? Get verified and get seen.
Verification is free. [Confirm any fees or eligibility rules.]
Partner pilot programme
Before any organisation gets big support, it goes through a small, public test run. If e no work for small money, e no go work for big money.
The community or the organisation nominates a charity, NGO or orphanage it knows and trusts.
We check the registration, the people in charge, a bank account in the organisation's name and two independent references.
A small, capped first donation goes to one real, costed need, paid from the multisig treasury.
Receipts, photos and a short report are posted publicly, and the transactions are on-chain for anyone to check.
Pass the pilot and the organisation becomes a verified partner, eligible for bigger causes. Fail and it pauses, in public too.
🗓️ Timeline: preparation in Nov–Dec 2026, company registration from January 2027, then the first [3] pilot partners. Know a good organisation? Nominate them or tell us in the community.
05 · For donors
Give with confidence, then follow your gift all the way to the result.

07 · Our commitment
The community rebuilt this project, on purpose and in the open.
$ABEG began with a charitable promise. When the original team stepped away early in the project’s life, the community chose not to let that promise die. Under new, publicly accountable leadership, led by [Lead developer name / role], the project is being rebuilt from the ground up around the one thing that was missing: trust you can verify.
We know trust has to be earned again. These are our promises:
